Kate Dominic’s passion is writing about good sex. She has published over 300 erotic short stories, writing in both male and female voices, sliding up and down the Kinsey scale in orientations ranging from heterosexual to gay male to lesbian to transsexual. Since she’s an unrepentant voyeur, her hallmark is stories in which the reader gets to overhear first person confessions about “the best sex I ever had!”

Kate is the author of the critically acclaimed collection Any 2 People, Kissing (Down There Press, 2003), which was a finalist for the 2004 Foreword Magazine Book of the Year Award in the category of Fiction: Short Stories. The book was reviewed in venues from CleanSheets to Blowfish to On Our Backs, and was one of two books used as examples in a recent library journal article on the impact of current anti-sex-writing censorship policies on library purchasing of quality literary erotica.

In addition to Any 2 People, Kissing, Kate’s recent is available in a wide variety of both traditional and kinky anthologies, including The Many Joys of Sex Toys, The Big Book of Hot Women’s Erotica, and several volumes of Best Women’s Erotica and Best Lesbian Erotica. Online, she is a featured monthly writer at Lady Susan’s “A Private Affair” spanking website and has had several stories in the galleries of the Erotica Readers & Writers Association. Under a variety of pennames, she has also had stories in Best American Erotica, Best Gay Erotica, Best Bisexual Erotica, and Best Transsexual Erotica.

What's New and Exciting?
Column News: I'm really jazzed about my new position as a columnist for the
Erotica Readers and Writers Association (www.erotica-readers.com). Check out
"The Business End" for tips on running your own home erotic office -- or just
to laugh at my attempts to remain cool, calm, collected and organized while
moving both my home and my office last month.

Anthology News: I received my author copies of two great new anthologies:
Naughty Spanking Stories from A-Z, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel (Pretty Things
Press) and Ultimate Lesbian Erotica, edited by Nicole Foster (Alyson Press).
The first book includes my story, "Cops" (which originally appeared on Lady
Susan's domestic discipline site, www.domestic-disciplinarian.com), about a
sassy woman with a penchant for buying expensive panties to tease her police
officer husband into giving her the spanking she wants. In the second book,
"Zhenya's Dance" tells the butch/femme story of two women who deal human
trafficking on their own terms. Both anthologies are available through your favorite
bookstores.

Event News: Rachel Kramer Bussel plans on organizing a Los Angeles area
reading sometime this spring in support of Naughty Spanking Stories from A-Z. Stay
